The ballots have been counted and it's official: Eric Shelton will be the next chef to take over Trinity Groves' "permanent pop-up" Kitchen LTO. Shelton and his "new American" menu will take over when first round chef Norman Grimm packs up his knives (Grimm's last night in the kitchen will be February 1).
When LTO reopens for dinner on February 5, the Coeval Studio-designed dining room will be but a brightly colored memory; a freshly revamped interior will be courtesy of Italian designer Stefania Morandi, who's also responsible for the interiors of neighbors Casa Rubia and Souk. According to the press release, Morandi is planning a minimalist "black and white wonders" theme — stay tuned to see what exactly that translates to.
