Trinity Groves is getting a sushi bar. According to Morning News critic Leslie Brenner, it'll be called Sushi Bayashi and will feature the talents of sushi chef Yuki Hirabayashi, formerly of Kenichi in Victory Park (not to be confused with Keiichi, the high-dollar omakase spot in Denton). TG mastermind Phil Romano says it won't be "fancy," but "an every day kind of sushi bar."
Bayashi plans to open in "three to four months" — based on the suite number, it looks like it'll be going in near Kitchen LTO — by which time several other new concepts at the development should also be open including Cake Bar and Potato Flats (and hey, maybe even the new Off-Site Kitchen?).
Keep up with Bayashi's progress via its new Facebook page and Twitter.
