FT33 Bringing in Guest Chefs from Texas, NYC & Beyond

Matt McCallister's hot-as-ever Design District dining destination FT33 will continue its guest chef series in 2014, and this year's lineup is looking mighty impressive.

Folks may recall that in 2013, FT33 brought in several notable chefs including Jeremiah Langhorne of McCrady's in Charleston, Ned Elliott of Austin's Foreign & Domestic, and Houston's Randy Rucker.

This year, McCallister is increasing his reach, pulling chefs from as far off as NYC and Rhode Island. The guest chefs will moonlight at FT33 on the third Monday of each month, starting in February; each night will feature eight alternating courses by McCallister and the chef o' the month. Read on for the full schedule through September:

February 17 — Chef Richard Kuo of Pearl & Ash in NYC
March 17 — Chef Bryce Gilmore of Barley Swine in Austin
April 21 — Chef Benjamin Sukle of Birch in Providence, RI
May 19 — Chef Jason Dady of Jason Dady Restaurant Group (Bin 555, Tre Trattoria, et al.) in San Antonio
June 16 — Chef Matthew Jennings of Farmstead in Providence, RI
July 21 — Chef Brandon Baltzley of CRUX and TMIP in Indiana
August 18 — Chef Seth Siegel-Gardner of The Pass & Provisions in Houston
September 15 — Chef Lachlan Patterson of Frasca in Boulder, CO

Seating will be very limited and reservations are required; seats are $110 per person per night ($50 extra for wine pairings). Call FT33 at 214-741-2629 to reserve if any of the upcoming events strike your fancy.
