A new year is upon us, and so it goes that diets, new gym memberships and yoga studio visits are at the top of the ol' list of priorities for many. Right on time, Sundown at Granada on Lower Greenville has released a fresh new menu. Mohawk-sporting chef Patrick Stark continues his quest to make his kitchen entirely GMO-free — it's currently about 99 percent there, which is certainly nothing to sneeze at — as well as focusing on offering more organic, gluten-free, paleo, vegetarian and vegan dishes.
It's not all super-crunchy-hippie food, though; people without buzzword-y dietary restrictions will also find plenty of worthy options on the menu including pan-seared scallops with bacon marmalade, panko-crusted duck risotto croquettes or a breakfast-for-dinner flatbread with gouda, bacon and an over-easy egg. (And while it might be ever so slightly too cold to enjoy Sundown's pretty swell rooftop patio these days, there are 60-plus beers on tap as well as craft cocktails for 'liquid blanket' purposes.)
