EAST DALLAS—Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House has a brand-spanking-new menu. Plenty of old favorites have stuck around, joined by new creations like the Chinstrap burger (bacon mousse, Amish blue cheese, and crispy bacon), a lamb burger with tzatziki, a fancy Scardello-sourced cheese board, and more. Peep the full menu this way. [EaterWire]

LOVERS LANE—Empire Baking Company's next pastry pop-up will feature Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek pastry chef Nicolas Blouin.
