DOWNTOWN—CBD Provisions is currently running a very tasty, fall-appropriate special: A housemade weisswurst served with Bavarian mustard and a housemade lye pretzel alongside a 10oz pour of Lakewood Brewing's Till & Toil. Get it at the bar Mondays through Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. for the remainder of October. [EaterWire]

DESIGN DISTRICT—Attention fancy oenophiles: SER at the Hilton Anatole will introduce its new Wine Club on Thursday night with a launch party from 5:30-7 p.m. featuring wine and hors d'oeuvres. The party is $40; club membership is $250/person or $400/couple and includes "such benefits as a complimentary one-night hotel stay, complimentary glass of featured wine of the month, and concessions on dining at SĒR and special events," plus a three-course members' dinner for $49. Call (214) 761-7479 to reserve. [EaterWire]

W. MAGNOLIA—In honor of the State Fair, Cane Rosso Fort Worth is featuring a "Ghost of Big Tex" appetizer special all month long: fried artichokes, fried potato croquettes, fried mozzarella, and fried arancini. (Don't bother asking for ranch, because you know damn well they don't have it.) [CRFW/Facebook]
