DESIGN DISTRICT—Pakpao Thai is introducing a new "Thai-meets-Texas" brunch. Served Saturdays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., expect Chiang Mai sausage hash, Thai tea French toast and a crab omelette, plus $1 original or tamarind mimosas, $3 lychee bellinis, and a BYO Bloody Mary bar. Sunday brunch will also feature a DJ. [EaterWire]

DEEP ELLUM—Macaulay Culkin's pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band The Pizza Underground performed in Dallas for the second time on Monday night at Trees, and it was as weird as you'd might expect. Additionally, their opening act Candy Boys rapped about candy, so... yeah. [EaterWire]

HENDERSON AVE—Awesome chocolatier Nib Chocolates will be popping up at boutique Melissa Benge Collection (2823 N. Henderson) from 6-8 p.m. tonight during the Henderson Candlelight Walk. Warm up with some spiced drinking chocolate and handmade bonbons. [EaterWire]
