LOWER GREENVILLE—New Greenville Bar & Grill is now serving lunch from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. every weekday and a happy hour/late-night menus from 4 to 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. daily. Lunch includes a burger, a Cuban-esque sandwich and a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato fondue, while the happy hour menu has snacky fare like corndogs, fried chicken skins, pork rinds, and cheese fries. LISTCLES—Dining solo? Leslie Brenner has a handy list of half-a-dozen places to eat at the bar or counter, including Stock & Barrel, Bolsa, and Gemma. (Perhaps unsurprisingly, the bar and counter at her arch-nemesis John Tesar's restaurant Knife did not make the list.) [Eats Blog]

PARK CITIES/UPTOWN/ETC.—Can't wait for Thanksgiving? Hopdoddy Burger Bar has a pretty crazy-looking new turkey burger with sage pesto, jalapeno cornbread stuffing, ginger-cranberry chutney, gouda cheese, and a bacon-Brussels sprouts salad. Get it now through November 30. [EaterWire]
