Hungry shoppers at NorthPark Center have a new dining option: Pho Kitchen is now open in the shopping mall's upper level food court. Now that holiday shopping insanity — and legitimately cold winter weather — are upon us, taking a break from with a steaming bowl of soup sounds like a mighty good idea. Best of all, the new food court tenant has a legit chef behind it: Tuyet Davis, who hails from Deep Ellum's recently shuttered Lemongrass.
As far as the menu goes, expect chicken and beef pho, fried imperial rolls, spring rolls with a variety of fillings including shrimp and chicken, banh mi, noodle bowls, and a few dishes Lemongrass fans will recognize, such as spinach pasta with chicken. Iced Vietnamese coffee could make trips to the always-crowded downstairs Starbucks a thing of the past for some.
