DiDi's Tamale Diner Hits Trinity Groves With Tamales, Tortas, and Tequila

DiDi's Tamale Diner

The latest addition to Trinity Groves' restaurant lineup will hit the mega-development on Monday: DiDi's Tamale Diner originated with a now-closed location in Mesquite, but the TG outpost will be considerably stepped up, with a full bar serving a variety of tequilas and mezcals.

As previously reported, DiDi's menu will showcase both Mexican and Central American tamale varieties with fillings like blue corn-cheese, smoked brisket, spicy pork, or chicken. Side options will include Mexican-style rice and three types of beans — refried, charro or black. They'll also serve tortas filled with barbacoa, chicken milanesa, or al pastor, and various accoutrements like pickled vegetables and lemon-cilantro mayo. On the sweet side of things, diners can also expect housemade paletas and dessert tamales (including a Nutella variety), as well as Mexican hot chocolate.

DiDi's will be open daily for lunch and dinner. Scope out the full menu below:
