Taco aficionados may turn up their noses at Fuel City, but the 24-hour gas station/taqueria/car wash/pseudo-wildlife refuge is nonetheless an insanely popular destination for the city's hungry late-night crowd. Now, Fuel City will expand its reach with a third location, slated to open this summer in Mesquite. (A second location opened in Lufkin in late 2012.)
According to a press release, it'll be twice the size of the location on Dallas's Riverfront Boulevard, at a sprawling 17 acres. In addition to a 24-hour taqueria and 32 gas pumps, it will also include an outpost of The Original Fried Pie Shop. No mention of whether or not there will be a zebra or a swimming pool.
