The Cajun chain Dodie's has just gobbled up the former New Big Wong's space on the Greenville Avenue, CultureMap reports, with plans to open a sports bar 504 Bar & Grill in late January/early February. The location also comes with highly-coveted dedicated parking.
Owner Charlie McGuinness notes that "504 will have a limited menu of upscale bar food, including grilled oysters and some real nice stuff." 504 happens to be the area code for New Orleans. There's plans for a patio and 35+ televisions.
Meanwhile, Coconut's Fish Cafe, a Maui restaurant known for fish tacos, fish burgers, and... erm... all things fish, is expanding to Dallas and currently looking for employees.
