Woman Sues Dallas Chick-Fil-A Over Sepsis & Heart Attack-Inducing Cherry Pit

New, 1 comment

A fragment of cherry pit caused the Plano woman's teeth to crack below the gum line, causing a shitstorm of problems.

A  woman is suing Chick-Fil-A in Dallas after biting down on a milkshake's cherry with a "large fragment of cherry pit" in tact, which cracked two of her teeth below the gumline, eventually causing sepsis (that's good old fashioned blood poisoning, for all you youngsters and non IV drug abusers out there) and a potentially sepsis-related heart attack. City of Ate reports that the woman, who lived in Plano when the cherry bomb happened, is seeking "between $200,000 and $1 million from Chick-fil-A and Dell's Maraschino Cherries to cover medical expenses incurred after the incident, along with relief for physical pain, disfigurement, and impairment, and mental anguish."
