Restaurateur Shannon Wynne is about to double down in the Design District. Wynne, of course, is the mastermind behind the Meddlesome Moth (not to mention The Flying Saucer and Lark on the Park), the first restaurant to make the Design District a dining destination when it opened back in 2010; now, SideDish reveals that Wynne, along with his son Sam and partner Keith Schlabs, intends to bring a second location of laid-back Fort Worth burger joint Rodeo Goat to the 'hood.

Inventive sauces and toppings like brisket chili, grilled peaches, bourbon-candied bacon, mole mustard and sriracha mayo abound at the Goat, but according to Eater contributor Malcolm Mayhew, "the real sweethearts of this Rodeo are the juicy patties, ground daily in-house." Could the arrival of Rodeo Goat give nearby burger haven Off-Site Kitchen a run for its money?

Shannon Wynne tells SideDish they hope to debut the new Rodeo Goat "before the end of the summer." For now, Dallasites will have to be content with drooling over the menu on the Goat's website.
