Seattle's Top Pot Is Bringing Its Doughnuts to Dallas

Seattle's Top Pot Doughnuts is bringing its sweet, carb-laden wares to the Big D. SideDish reports that Top Pot will open a 1,300 square foot "doughnut lounge" sometime this spring at Northwest Highway and Hillcrest Road in University Park. (According to Google Maps, that's adjacent to a green space known as Coffee Park — seriously.)

Top Pot launched in 2002 in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood and has since expanded to an empire of 15 locations in the Seattle area. Looks like the Dallas location will be the first Top Pot outside of Washington State, but plenty of folks may already be familiar with its flavors: Starbucks stores all over the country began selling Top Pot-branded doughnuts back in 2008, although they're no longer labelled as such. Expect classic old-fashioned doughnuts, bacon-maple rings, apple fritters, seasonal cake doughnut flavors like chai or pumpkin, cold-brew coffee and more.
