Hypnotic Donuts Working on Downtown Denton Space

Attention sugar-starved Dentonites: Don't you worry, Little D's very own location of Hypnotic Donuts is still in the works. According to Hypnotic's website, the crazy donut purveyors wanted "a building with some character" that had a location convenient to Denton's town square and was convenient for UNT students — a building at 235 West Hickory Street, to be exact.

As always, the downside of choosing a historic building is the inevitable renovations that must be made; the Hyppies are currently in the process of lowering the floor, which they say "is going to create a cool atmosphere where you have to step down into the restaurant." After that, they'll be adding plumbing and expect things to "start moving pretty fast."

Previous info posted on the We Denton Do It blog says the new Hypnotic will include a Cultivar Coffee location within it, plus a patio and a sweet mural on the side of the building. With plenty of sugar, caffeine, and those killer chicken biscuits, it's hardly a leap of faith to say Hypnotic will be the hottest new study spot for UNT students when it debuts.
