Long a standby for late-night French toast, stuffed crepes and bottomless cups of coffee, the quirky 24-hour Buzzbrews empire is poised to expand once again: A post on the Buzzbrews Facebook page this morning revealed that the locally owned mini-chain has a fourth location in the works.

Buzzbrews' director of operations Megan Estep explains that while they haven't yet signed a lease, they're currently negotiating for one of two different spots: Casa Linda or The Cedars.

"The next store will follow a more similar vein as the Deep Ellum spot, offering a full bar along with all the other perks of self-serve coffee, free wi-fi, 24/7 hours and the fun and funky neighborhood culture everybody loves," she says. They're currently putting together an opening team and hiring replacements for the current employees who will be making the move to the new location, so that once the lease is a go it shouldn't take long to get the doors open.

The pint-sized OG Buzzbrews opened on North Central Expressway near Fitzhugh Avenue in 2005; a much larger Oak Lawn location (with booze!) was added in 2008, followed by the third Deep Ellum location which opened its doors in 2011 in the former Cowboy Chow spot on Commerce Street. While East Dallas residents would no doubt be pleased to snag a Buzzbrews of their own in Casa Linda, the late-night (read: post-drinking) spot would definitely be a killer addition to The Cedars.
