Quick-service Bistro B offshoot RollNGo is now open on Upper Greenville with cheap eggrolls, bubble tea and more.
While Bistro B is a full-service pho emporium-slash-eggroll factory with a huge menu, RollNGo is a grab-it-and-go concept (with some outdoor seating for those who wish to stick around), but you'll still find most of the Vietnamese essentials offered: fried eggrolls stuffed with veggies, chicken or pork; spring rolls in over a dozen different varieties including grilled salmon and lemongrass chicken; 14 kinds of banh mi sandwiches (including "Asian burger" and breakfast options, plus the more traditional grilled pork and chicken); rice and vermicelli dishes and pho.
There's also a vast array of beverage options including fresh juices, smoothies made with fresh fruit, various teas, coconut water and Vietnamese iced coffee, all of which can have chewy tapioca pearls (or "bubbles") added to them. The prices will certainly appeal to the area's student population, with banh mi priced at 3 for $10 and eggrolls clocking in at a dirt-cheap three for a buck.
RollNGo is open from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. daily (breakfast eggrolls, anyone?).
