Here's a look inside Vagabond, Lower Greenville's newest bar that officially flung open its doors last Friday. The space has seen quite a transformation since its J. Pepe's days — the swimming pool in the back has been transformed into a bocce ball court (do note the "No Diving" sign) and the former day-glo green margaritas are now replaced by an impressive lineup of craft cocktails thanks to booze whisperer Eddie "Lucky" Campbell (there's even a whole menu category dedicated to Jameson-based drinks).
As far as food goes, a well-edited lineup of starters from chef Stewart Jameson includes the oh-so-trendy charcuterie plate with beef tongue pastrami, shishito peppers (which can also be found garnishing one of the cocktails, a gin and strawberry number) and duck fat steak fries; there's also a few sandwiches and a build-your-own burger option with an array of toppings such as bone marrow mayo, bacon-apple jam, chicken liver mousse and more.
Vagabond is now open Tuesday through Sunday from 4 p.m.-1 a.m.
