Most people know Sean Conner as the talented cocktail maestro behind the bar at Plano gem Whiskey Cake (he also did the drink menu for the more recently opened Mexican Sugar), but apparently he's got a few more tricks up his sleeve: Now he's opening his own pizzeria.
Mike Hiller reported last week that Conner had departed Whiskey Cake, and today he's got the scoop on where he's headed — Lewisville. He's opening his own venture called P1.E 3.14 (get it?) at the "golf-centric community" Castle Hills.
Conner tells Escape Hatch his pies will have "a thick, doughy crust," and the menu will also feature "shareable plates, pizza rolls, cool sandwiches, craft cocktails, beer and wine on tap." P1.E 3.14 will even deliver to the surrounding neighborhood via golf cart. Hiller says the restaurant is expected to launch in early May.
