Queso Chip Battle; Lounge 31's New Bloody Mary Plans

PLANO—Taverna Rossa serves its queso with Fritos (which is frankly kinda awesome), but many people have requested tortilla chips, so they're letting the customers decide: Order queso right now and it'll come flanked by both types of chips, then customers can vote for their favorite; the winner will be served with the dip come April. PARK CITIES—Swanky Highland Park Village spot Lounge 31 (upstairs from Bistro 31) is launching a new Sunday brunch beginning April 6 with a DIY Bloody Mary bar, Bloody Mary cart service and half-price Champagne. Signature Bloodys include a Bangkok Bloody with soy sauce, sriracha, wasabi and togarashi, garnished with tempura shrimp and shishito pepper; there's also several new brunch dishes like duck hash and eggs.
