Ruth Reichl Coming to Dallas; Brisket & Wine Pairing

ARTS DISTRICT—Former Gourmet editor/NY Times food critic and current blogger/Twitter poet Ruth Reichl is coming to Dallas on May 13 as part of the Dallas Museum of Art's recurring Arts & Letters series to promote her first work of fiction, Delicious. Tickets range from $15 for students to $35 and can be purchased here. [Eaterwire]

DESIGN DISTRICT—The Wine Poste has another brisket and wine pairing event coming up on April 25 starting at 6:30 p.m. $30 gets you six tastings of Rhone Valley varietals and a half-pound of Pecan Lodge brisket "with all the fixings."
