Another local food truck is expanding with a brick and mortar spot: Neapolitan pizzeria on wheels BellaTrino "is planning to open a restaurant that will seat about 100 guests off McKinney [Avenue] in Uptown" within the next 90 days, says the Dallas Business Journal. (Two other locations are also in the works, but those locations haven't yet been revealed.)

BellaTrino currently has two of its custom-built trucks — which include not only wood-fired pizza ovens but also soda fountains, seating and even TVs — cruising the streets with another one on the way. The trucks can frequently be found in Uptown catering to the post-bar crowds or outside Times Ten Cellars in Lakewood; in addition to pies like the Napoletana (tomatoes, white anchovies, capers, oregano) and the Terra (mushrooms, baby kale, mozzarella, thyme, pecorino) that cook in 70 seconds, the mobile pizzeria also does caprese salads, pastas and sandwiches called panuozzi that are made with pizza dough.

Other food trucks that have expanded to brick and mortar locations include Nammi, the Green House truck and Cajun Tailgators.
