East Hampton Sandwich Co. is poised to expand with a third location in Fort Worth this summer. The sandwich shop's newest outpost is slated for the up-and-coming mixed-use West Bend development on University; current restaurant tenants include Smashburger, Zoes Kitchen and Silver Fox Steakhouse, with a Grimaldi's on the way.
This will be the third location of 26-year-old Hunter Pond's sandwich venture; the first opened in Snider Plaza back in September 2012 and quickly gained a following for its New England-style lobster roll and other sandwiches made with house-roasted meats and unique sauces, like Meyer lemon chicken salad or turkey, bacon and avocado with garlic-sage aioli served in a beachy, Hamptons-esque atmosphere. A second Shops at Legacy location debuted last November.
Look for East Hampton Fort Worth to open its doors in August.
