Calais Winery is abandoning Deep Ellum and heading to Hill Country. Per Teresa Gubbins, "their exit resulted from the city's refusal to grant [the] business adequate zoning." The new location of Calais, which "makes its wine using 100 percent Texas grapes," will feature an on-site vineyard. [CultureMap]
