Uber Will Deliver Sprinkles Cupcakes on Wednesday

Uber is mostly known for delivering drunk people safely to their destinations, but from time to time the extremely popular car service also delivers other things like ice cream and even Christmas trees.

This Wednesday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Uber is teaming up with Sprinkles Cupcakes in Preston Center to deliver boxes of four cupcakes (plus "Uber swag") on demand for $25. It's worth noting that four Sprinkles cupcakes usually costs $15, but depending on how hungry you are, that delivery surcharge could be worth it? (Also, a portion of proceeds from the cupcake delivery sales will go to a local education initiative, so, charity.)

To get your hands on said cupcakes, fire up the Uber app during the designated hours, toggle over to the UberSprinkles option and proceed as usual. Per an Uber rep, "demand will be high so request early and often." More details this way.
