FAIR PARK—If your ideal 4th of July includes attempting to win a gigantic stuffed panda, you're in luck: The Midway at Fair Park will open at noon on July 4 with "26 exhilarating rides" in addition to the usual games. Expect live music all day and a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. (and probably corn dogs as well). [EaterWire]

OAK CLIFF—Ten Bells Tavern is celebrating its second anniversary this weekend with $3 Lone Star drafts and $5 "donktails"; a portion of the proceeds from said drinks will go to Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue. The donkeys themselves will be at the bar on June 28 (stay tuned to the bar's Facebook page for details on exactly when). [TBT/Facebook]

DOWNTOWN FT. WORTH—Grace will host a clam bake on its terrace on Saturday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. In addition to the clam bake with clams, scallops, lobster, prawns, mussels, crab and calamari, the menu will also include clam chowder, raw and baked oysters and roasted banana pudding; each course will be paired with wine or beer. Tickets are $65 and can be obtained by calling Grace at 817-877-3388. [EaterWire]
