Excellent news, ramen fiends: Tei-An owner Teiichi Sakurai's hotly anticipated Ten Ramen at Sylvan Thirty will be open in time to serve food at the development's grand opening event on September 27, per SideDish. The event will also feature a half-marathon, a beer garden, live music, and bike valet (really). Future tenant Bottega Italia, the cafe-slash-market from chef Daniele Puleo, will host a pop-up at the event also.
Ten will occupy a diminutive 750 square feet, holding just 13 seats. Sakurai told SideDish last year that the price point would be around $10 a bowl. It was originally slated to open back in May but the building went down in flames in the spring. Until then, cravings for Sakurai's ramen can be satiated at Tei-An, where the tonkotsu ramen is a menu staple.
