Upscale Mexican restaurant Wild Salsa and fast-casual Chop House Burger are located in downtown Dallas just a block away from one another, and now the two will be getting even cozier in downtown Fort Worth: DRG Concepts is planning to open new branches of both restaurants side by side in Sundance Square's City Place Center.
Per a PR rep for DRG Concepts, the Chop House Burger location is slated to open this fall; this will be the third location (there's also one in Euless), and they also have future outposts planned for Plano, Frisco and Southlake. CHB utilizes local products including Texas-raised beef and chicken, buns from Village Baking Co. and Marfa tomatoes; they also have some pretty killer milkshakes including a creme brulee version and one made with Nutella and hazelnuts. This will be just the second location for Wild Salsa; blog Food, Fort Worth says it'll open "later this year."
