Roving pop-up Cafe Momentum now boasts a permanent staff as they prepare to open their forever home. The non-profit culinary training center for juvenile offenders announced their kitchen staff over the weekend, according to a post from SideDish. Director Chad Houser has hired former Kitchen LTO chef Eric Shelton as chef de cuisine.
Cafe Momentum announced plans to open a permanent restaurant in downtown Dallas earlier this fall, though they have yet to secure a space. Until then, the full culinary team will be available for catering events. The group has been hosting wildly popular pop-up dinners at venues like FT33, Fearing's and Cane Rosso since its launch back in summer 2011.
