Signs of life at Addison's future Ramen Hakata: A Yelp page has popped up for the restaurant with user-submitted photos that reveal a fresh facade (the strip mall space on Belt Line Road was formerly occupied by a Burrito Jimmy's) plus business hours, a BYOB policy and free wifi. Little else is known about the restaurant just yet, other than they've promised to serve "the original Japanese ramen." A website is listed on the restaurant's front door but isn't yet active. There's also an employment ad up on Craigslist that says the restaurant plans to open sometime this month; they're currently seeking cooks, servers and dishwashers (ability to speak Japanese is a major plus). Per the hours listed on the door, Ramen Hakata will be open for both lunch and dinner daily.
Of course, it's not the only ramen opening on the horizon; Vegas-based Monta Ramen is planning to open a location in Richardson sometime this summer and Tei-An owner Teiichi Sakurai will open his long-awaited ramen spot Ten at Sylvan Thirty before the end of September.
