Red meat queen Dee Lincoln is expanding her brand to Fort Worth. She'll open a third location of Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar in Fort Worth's Museum Place development sometime in the first quarter of 2015 — except this one will just be called Dee Lincoln Steak Bar. Why the change? Per a press release, "As a growth model, it is in our best interest to eliminate confusing the potential guest. Dee Lincoln Steak Bar is a casual but chic steakhouse that also happens to have a nice presence of gourmet burgers on the menu." The move makes sense in light of Lincoln's recent interview with Eater in which she stated, "To be honest, the burgers weren't my main focus. I was all about the steaks."
The new outpost will have 180 seats, including a bar, a community table and two patios. The original Uptown location of Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar opened last September; a West Plano locale followed in April. Lincoln has also mentioned Southlake and Las Colinas as possibilities in her future expansion plans.
