Rodeo Goat Unveils Festive Christmas in July Burger

Pining away for the far-off winter holidays, when you can stuff yourself stupid with Christmas goose whilst sporting a reindeer sweater knitted by Grandma? Fort Worth bar and burger joint Rodeo Goat is here to save the day with a new holiday-inspired burger that reads like a condensed version of holiday feasts.

Per Rodeo Goat's Facebook page, said burger consists of an herb-roasted turkey patty topped with apple-cinnamon candied bacon, creamed spinach, onion rings and pomegranate mayo. It would clearly pair well with one of the beers Rodeo Goat is currently serving as part of its Christmas in July promotion — cold-weather brews like Rahr & Sons barrel-aged Winter Warmer. Hopefully they've got their air-conditioning set to frigid.

Rodeo Goat, which is owned by the Wynne family of Flying Saucer/Meddlesome Moth/Lark on the Park/et al. fame, has a Dallas location in the works; they're planning to open in the Design District (just a stone's throw from the Moth) sometime this year.
