Oktoberfest Approaches; Cooking Class at Sea Breeze

FORT WORTH—A three-day Oktoberfest celebration will be held at Panther Island Pavilion from September 25-27 with "several indoor and outdoor beer gardens." Besides beer, there will also be dachsund races (really), a stein-lifting competition, live music, German food and more. [DMN Beer Blog]

ADDISON—Chef Richard Chamberlain will once again host a full-service dining tent at the upcoming Oktoberfest celebration, which goes down September 18-21. Seats at Chamberlain's Brau Haus are $49, which includes "general adult admission, a commemorative stein and a $25 gift card to either Chamberlain's Steak & Chop House or Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill."
