Here's a sneak peek inside Austin export Houndstooth Coffee, making its debut Thursday in the old Pearl Cup space on Henderson Avenue. Bright and airy with plenty of hardwood, stainless steel and bright pops of turquoise, this is Houndstooth's third location, and the first in owner Sean Henry's hometown of Dallas. Expect Houndstooth's coffee lineup to feature beans from TWEED, Henry's Dallas-based roastery, as well as North Carolina's Counter Culture Coffee and Supersonic Coffee out of Berkeley, California, amongst others. Iced coffee fiends will have multiple options here: Japanese-style cold-brew and a toddy style, as well as Coffer, a naturally carbonated cold-brew coffee beverage that's bottled in Austin. Houndstooth will be open daily, with hours from 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on weekends. (Bonus: There's a sidewalk window for walk-up/bike-up service.) Follow the Dallas location on Twitter at @HoundstoothDTX for updates.
