Talk about terrible timing: One day after the launch of the annual dining room-filler known as Restaurant Week, a fire broke out at downtown's Dallas Chop House. Thankfully no one was injured in yesterday afternoon's three-alarm blaze, but it will be closed for a while; per a statement from DRG Concepts, DHC hopes to reopen by September 1. In the meantime, folks with Restaurant Week reservations will be shuffled to nearby sister restaurant Dallas Fish Market.
