The hotly anticipated new project from cocktail whisper Michael Martensen and partner Sal Jafar II has set a date at One Arts. Proof + Pantry will open officially on August 27. In addition to announcing an opening date, the restaurant has released food and beverage menus, which shed light on their "progressive American fare" concept.
Executive chef Kyle McClelland's "Pantry" menu is broken down on-trend by "soil," "land," and "sea," with offerings like baby radishes served with rye soil and a ham tasting. The menu's "bulk" section features several large format dishes, including a tomahawk pork chop for $55. The cocktail menu, designed by Martensen and his team from The Cedars Social & Smyth, mixes "low-proof" shrubs with playful "high proof" cocktails. Take a look at both menus below.
