The annual Texas Monthly Barbecue Festival went down Sunday in Austin, and just about anybody who's somebody in the Texas barbecue universe was there. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the festival's longest line formed for Franklin Barbecue, though our very own Pecan Lodge drew quite a crowd as well. Besides a hefty amount of brisket, ribs and sausage, there were also draft cocktails, custom-made branding irons and plenty of koozie-signing.
