Former Central 214 chef (and reality TV star) Blythe Beck will return to the Dallas dining scene when she takes the reigns at Kitchen LTO's fourth rotation.
Beck will take the place of third round chef Brooke Egger beginning October 2; she'll serve a "modern Southern" menu. This morning's press release didn't offer any menu specifics, but fans of Beck from her Central 214 days might remember indulgent fare that wasn't shy on the butter, cream or booze, like chicken and waffles with jalapeno gravy, chicken-fried Kobe steak and banana pudding with whiskey-soaked vanilla wafers. (Of course, it'll remain to be seen if Beck will reprise her pink chef's jacket from her Central 214 days.)
For those who just can't wait to get a taste of Beck' menu, sneak-peek specials will begin running this weekend; for the full menu, you'll have to wait until dinner service on Thursday, October 2. Lunch service will launch Friday, October 3, and Saturday/Sunday brunch service will begin that weekend.
