Finally, something new is coming to the Uptown space vacated by Acme F&B.
Brought to you by the folks behind Dallas brunch institution Bread Winners, it's called Henry's Majestic and frequent Dallas diners will recognize a few of the names behind it: Roe DiLeo, whom many will recall from her time in the kitchen at The Libertine, will serve as general manager, while barman Alex Fletcher hails from The People's Last Stand and, more recently, Victor Tangos. DiLeo will also get her 15 minutes of reality TV fame soon, as she's slated to appear on the upcoming season of shouty chef Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, premiering September 10.
Per a press release, Henry's Majestic will feature "an elevated yet approachable menu of small and large plate offerings featuring charcuterie from Meat Parlour," a new cured meat company founded by Breadwinners' executive research & development chef, Adam Kovac. Expect weekend brunch and a dog-friendly patio with TVs, pool tables and a fireplace; opening is slated for October.
Acme F&B enjoyed a very brief run under its opening chefs, Jeana Johnson and Colleen O'Hare of Good 2 Go Taco/Mot Hai Ba fame; just a few months after opening, the duo was bought out by partners Brooke Humphries and Brianna Larson. Acme F&B was soon reconcepted as the more casual Acme Social Club and eventually shuttered back in January.
