Dallas Grilled Cheese Co. Debuts With Manwiches and Kool-Aid Cocktails

The wait is almost over: Bishop Arts' Dallas Grilled Cheese Co. will officially open for business next Monday. As you might expect, there are fancy grilled cheeses here with ingredients like arugula, brie, fig jam, and Spanish chorizo, along with a selection of wines and local craft beers and ciders to match. But for the comfort-food seekers among us, the menu is also rife with nostalgia-inducing fare: Think fried bologna and mayo on white bread, a grilled PB&J, Kool-Aid cocktails, a root beer float (made with Texas-brewed Saint Arnold's root beer), and a sandwich called "The Dude" with Manwich sloppy joe sauce that might just transport you back to your childhood.

There are also bacon lollipops, twice-fried chicken wings, and a selection of salads with a variety of housemade dressings, plus dessert grilled cheese and milkshakes in flavors like sea salt caramel and banana-cinnamon. Scope out the full menu below:
