Merry pizza piper Jay Jerrier's quest to dominate the DFW pizza landscape continues: CultureMap's Teresa Gubbins brings news that Cane Rosso is preparing to open another outpost in the Dallas suburb of Carrollton.
The restaurant will be located in Carrollton's otherwise-rather-unremarkable downtown area, in a building that previously housed a bicycle shop. This will be the Neapolitan pizzeria's fifth location, following Deep Ellum, White Rock, Fort Worth, and Fairview. Jerrier's other concept, the New York-style Zoli's, has just one location in Oak Cliff — for now, anyway.
How will the people of Carrollton feel about Cane Rosso's controversial anti-ranch policy? Stay tuned; Cane Rosso Carrollton is estimated to open "by June." For now, follow along with their progress via a just-launched Facebook page for the new location.
