2015 is shaping up to be an absolutely massive year for openings. From a long-awaited ramen restaurant at Sylvan Thirty to a made-over Sonic drive-in and expansions of popular dining destinations like Smoke, Pakpao, and Off-Site Kitchen, not to mention major new additions to the Dallas Farmers Market, here's where you'll be dining this year.

18th & Vine

Location: Oak Lawn
Major Players:
The Details: The two-story building at Throckmorton and Maple originally intended for Herrera's will instead be home to a Kansas City-style barbecue place from a catering guru. Besides barbecue, there will also be upstairs and downstairs bars with live music.

Bisous Bisous

Location: West Village
The Details: Why yes, macarons are the new cupcake. Frequent farmers market vendor Bisous Bisous is going brick-and-mortar with a West Village bakery that will also include a coffee bar. Besides macarons, expect tarts, éclairs, croissants, and a rotating selection of seasonal desserts.

Braindead Brewing

Location: Deep Ellum

The Details: Wynne (son of restaurateur Shannon and co-creator of burger joint Rodeo Goat), former DEBC brewmaster Huerter, and Fryman (a cicerone formerly of The Common Table) are teaming up to open a brewpub that will serve 42 beers (a dozen or so brewed on-site) and a small

Location: Downtown

The Details: The nonprofit group dedicated to teaching hospitality industry skills to former juvenile offenders is taking their pop-up dinners brick and mortar with a restaurant at Thanksgiving Square.

Cépage: A Wine Bar

Location: Deep Ellum
Major Players: Jean-Michel Sakouhi
The Details: A wine bar in Deep Ellum? Yep, it's happening, thanks to a Dallas industry vet who's opened (and closed) more restaurants than you can shake a stick at. Expect French-y fare like the fancy sandwich known as the croque madame, and wine. Lots of wine.

CiboDivino Marketplace

Location: Sylvan Thirty
Major Players: Daniele Puleo
The Details: Originally named Bottega Italia, this market/restaurant from the former Daniele Osteria chef (and current owner of Inzo Italian Kitchen in Fort Worth and Roanoke) will encompass a coffee bar, a deli counter with charcuterie, prepared foods, and made-to-order pizza, sandwiches, and salads, along with a ton of wine.

C'Viche Tequila Bar

Location: Lowest Greenville
Major Players: Randall Warder
The Details: The Clark Food & Wine Co. chef/owner is putting a fast-casual concept right next door that will showcase ceviches and crudos as well as non-seafood items like tacos and quesadillas. A full bar will focus on tequila, rum, pisco, and cachaça, with cocktails starting at around $6, plus local craft and Latin beers.

The Details: Classic and specialty grilled cheese sandwiches, soups, salads, craft cocktails, local beer and wine are coming to Oak Cliff with this new concept that's positing itself as a "gastropub."

El Bolero

Location: Design District
Major Players: Apheleia (Richard and Tiffanee Ellman), John Paul Valverde
The Details: The restaurant group behind Pakpao and Oak continues its Design District domination with regional Mexican food. Chef Hugo Galvan formerly cooked at Cafe San Miguel, and with Coeval Studio's Valverde on the team, you can bet El Bolero will be a looker.

The Details: This is not a drill: Knife and Spoon chef John Tesar really is opening an Italian restaurant called Fork after shuttering Spoon for relocation. Other than that, very little is known just yet.

The Details: Abacus and Jasper's owner Rathbun is going casual with burgers and barbecue near 121 and the Dallas North Tollway. Expect sit-down service, "fancy cheese fries," and special attention paid to sides like burnt end beans and baked potato salad.

The Details: What the heck is a "Southern gastropub"? Find out when the restaurant group behind Velvet Taco and Whiskey Cake debuts their newest concept in the former Truluck's space on Belt Line Road.

K.T. Burger & Five Creeks Tavern

Location: Highland Park Village

The Details: Going into the former Village Kitchen/Toko V building is a duo of restaurants from the team behind Katy Trail Ice House: A fast-casual burger restaurant and "an American grill" that will actually serve mostly Italian fare (er, okay) like Neapolitan pizzas and pastas.

The Details: The owners of ever-popular O.C. brunching spot Jonathon's are opening a second concept that will reportedly focus on homey dishes from Erdeljac's childhood like pierogis, fresh pasta, and pepperoni rolls.

The Details: Sadhu, formerly of Pepper Smash and the sadly short-lived Sutra, is opening a restaurant focused on "Indian Ocean coastal cuisine" (think Singaporean and Malaysian) in the former Chennai Cafe space on Tennyson Parkway near Preston Road.

Location: Far North Dallas

The Details: With a little help from partners Tim Byres, Chris Jeffers, Chris Zielke (think Smoke, Bolsa, and Chicken Scratch) and Pie 3.14 owner Sean Conner, former Mexican Sugar chef Justice is transforming an abandoned Sonic drive-in into a laid-back, chef-driven restaurant. Expect pretzel-crusted chicken tenders, bulgogi kimchi fries, burgers with unique toppings, and a full bar with specialty cocktails.

The Details: The burgeoning dining neighborhood across the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge will soon have a casual sushi bar led by the former sushi chef from Victory Park's Kenichi.

The Details: The Tei-An chef/owner will finally debut his long-awaited and highly anticipated ramen shop this winter. Expect just 13 seats and a few different styles of ramen including tonkotsu and miso that will be priced at $10 or less.

The Details: The Neighborhood Services/Off-Site Kitchen mogul is building a new Design District restaurant from scratch that will reportedly feature open-hearth cooking, a raw bar, a dry-aging room, and a whole lot of wine.

The Details: Long a fixture in the city's underground dining scene, DAT is finally opening up a restaurant of his own. (No, it's not the po'boy spot once planned for Lakewood.) Expect a prix-fixe, dinner-only menu with four options: field (vegetarian), land (omnivore), sea (pescatarian), and signature (seasonal).

The Details: A real live Frenchman is opening a tiny fast-casual creperie at the up-and-coming Oak Cliff development that will also be home to Ten. Expect sweet and savory crepes, beer, wine, and cider, and interestingly enough, an interior by the designer who did Johnny Cash's Nashville home.

The Details: Local roasters Cultivar will open their third outlet (the first two are located inside Good 2 Go Taco and Hypnotic Donuts Denton in the Jefferson Tower development that's also home to Small Brewpub (and soon, another Carnival Barker's Ice Creams).

The Details: Red meat queen and Del Frisco's co-founder Dee Lincoln is expanding with two more locations: The Shops at Highland Park (in the former La Duni space) and Fort Worth's Museum Place development. (Think Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar in Uptown and West Plano, but with a diminished focus on burgers.)
