Dallas is pretty burger-saturated, to say the least, but there's always room for one more — especially when it's a Shake Shack.
Danny Meyer's NYC-based burger sensation just dropped a major bomb: Its first Dallas location will land at the corner of the McKinney and Pearl as part of The Crescent in 2016. (The Dallas Morning News reported a few months ago that a Shack was on the way for Plano's upcoming Legacy West mega-development, though no real timetable was given.) Per a press release, the first Dallas Shack "will be located under a verdant canopy of trees ... just steps from a corner park complete with lawn furniture and bocce ball."
In addition to juicy, pink-in-the-middle burgers served on Martin's potato rolls and crispy crinkle fries, expect three different concretes (blended frozen custard treats) made with locally-baked ingredients; in Austin, for example, the menu features a concrete containing miso blondies from Uchi. Stay tuned to see which local bakeries Shake Shack teams up with.
