Uchi's Mysterious Upstairs Concept Is Called Top Knot

Wait, is that a synonym for "man bun"?

At long last, the mysterious concept going in upstairs at Uchi Dallas has been revealed. According to a press release from the Uchi camp, it's called Top Knot

The menu at Top Knot consists of shared small plates that give a playful nod to the restaurant’s downstairs sibling Uchi. The food will bring together flavors from across Asia and farther afield. Top Knot will open initially for dinner and a full bar offering, including beer, wine, and sake on tap and distinctive cocktails. Brunch and lunch will launch in subsequent months. Specific menus will be shared in the next few weeks.

Brunch, Uchi-style? Given the restaurant's current status as the hottest of the Uptown hot spots, Top Knot is sure to be the buzziest new brunch in town.

It was previously stated that Uchi chef Junior Borges would oversee the food at the upstairs concept, but stay tuned for more details.
