Budding development Sylvan Thirty gets a new addition today with the long-awaited debut of fast-casual Whisk Crepes Cafe — brought to you by a real live Frenchman.
The name of this pint-sized shop joining Ten Ramen and Cibo Divino pretty much tells you all you need to know: The thin, delicate pancakes known as crepes are the name of the game here, folded around various fillings. Owner Julien Eelsen has a handful of predetermined combinations to choose from, or build your own; for a simple snack, the classic French combo of butter and sugar is the way to go.
Per GuideLive, the restaurant is BYOB for the time being, so bring in a bottle of your favorite French bubbly to get the party started — but don't linger too long, as the place only has seats for about 20 people. Check out the opening menu, below:
