— Just in time for sub-freezing temps, there's another fancy popsicle shop in town: Popular Lowest Greenville destination Steel City Pops has sprouted a new location in Casa Linda. Seasonal flavors of the moment include cinnamon apple, cranberry orange, and plum rosemary.

— No mas Le Taco? The Oak Lawn bar and restaurant formerly known as Scotch & Sausage is dunzo, according to a report from CraveDFW. — Speaking of listicles: D Magazine just published its picks for The 9 Best New Restaurants in Dallas 2015. Topping the list is Madrina, with Uchi and Small Brewpub rounding out the top three.
