— Just in time for sub-freezing temps, there's another fancy popsicle shop in town: Popular Lowest Greenville destination Steel City Pops has sprouted a new location in Casa Linda. Seasonal flavors of the moment include cinnamon apple, cranberry orange, and plum rosemary.
— No mas Le Taco? The Oak Lawn bar and restaurant formerly known as Scotch & Sausage is dunzo, according to a report from CraveDFW. A call to the restaurant went unanswered, its OpenTable system has been taken offline, and a PR rep confirmed she was no longer working with the restaurant. (The new Sfuzzi at the Gables Cedar Springs has also thrown in the towel; Yelp confirms that closure.)
