Starbucks Now Pouring Beer and Wine in Dallas and Fort Worth

Sadly, you can't get a shot of whiskey in your Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Starbucks: It's not just for Frappuccinos and insanely caloric muffins. A handful of locations in DFW are serving alcohol as of today.

Per GuideLive, you can now get a different sort of a buzz at three area Starbucks locations: the Shops at Park Lane, Lemmon Avenue and Inwood Road, and Fort Worth's Sundance Square. It's part of the coffee giant's "Starbucks Evenings" rollout, which includes craft beer, wine, and small plates like flatbreads, bacon-wrapped dates, and truffle mac and cheese. There's even a local beer on offer: Franconia Wheat from McKinney.

Don't live close to any of those three stores? Don't despair: Sarah Blaskovich notes that "stores in Southlake, McKinney, Carrollton, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Coppell, Mansfield, Highland Park, Murphy, Plano and Irving have also applied for or received licenses to sell beer and wine at their stores."

Or, you know, you could go to literally any other bar or restaurant in town. Only time will tell how many Dallasites will choose Starbucks as their new watering hole.
