Another new restaurant tenant for the Dallas Farmers Market has been announced: Taqueria La Ventana. Per a press release, it will be one of several restaurants in The Market (formerly Shed 2) and is slated to open early this summer. La Ventana will have both indoor and outdoor patio seating, and The Market "will also offer additional seating in a common dining area."
Taqueria La Ventana specializes in street tacos with traditional fillings like al pastor, suadero, and lengua, as well as churros, margaritas, and beer. It's owned by Firebird Restaurant Group (Snuffer's, Meso Maya, El Fenix) and currently has just one location that shares a courtyard with the downtown location of Meso Maya. A previously announced additional outpost is headed to Addison's Belt Line Road; that one will be next door to a new Snuffer's.
Other future restaurant tenants coming to the currently-in-flux farmers market include Nammi, Coolhaus, Rex's Seafood, Shannon Wynne's Mudhen, and a kolache spot from the owner of Bohemian Cafe.
