Attention crawfish fiends: A restaurant specializing in Cajun-style seafood boils is headed to Richardson Heights, the same shopping center where Alamo Drafthouse resides.
Family-owned and operated Tasty Tails already has a very popular outpost inside Plano's Asian mega-mart Jus Go Supermarket (located at Legacy and 75), but this will be the first standalone location. They specialize in crawfish, but when the beloved mudbugs aren't in season there's also snow crab, king crab, Dungeness crab, blue crab, clams, and shrimp, all of which can be doused in a Cajun-spiced garlic butter referred to as "Who Dat Sauce" and served with the traditional accompaniments of corn, potatoes, and sausage.
Other menu items include fried catfish and shrimp, and po'boys made with bread shipped in from Louisiana. Look for Tasty Tails Richardson to open sometime in the spring.
